  1. Because I had a lot of rolls backing up I made a little tool that pushed the leader card in an extra cm or so and it would grab. After about 50 rolls It just started working again!! Thank you everyone for the help. It really is most appreciated. Now if only the blasted scanner would work!!
  2. read everything carefully and got it installed, just cant get to the scanner screen
  3. all installed but it just opens on the Print menu

    HS 1800

I installed our software for the HS1800 stand alone scanner and its come up with the software for printing only. I can't find the scan software of main screen. where did i go wrong?
  5. if i tape two leader cards together and push it through the loading box until just past the first leader card - then it grabs and feeds as normal. So am i correct in thinking it must be the pressure roller(?) that initially grabs the leader? what could be the reason that it works intermittently
  6. Dave S, they all turn smoothly and grab the leader card if I manually pull it from the loading box. The Leader card does not move at all from where it is positioned in the loading box.
  7. Oh, you said that before but i was looking at the roller guide box on top - you don't mean that do you? I know that the leader doesn't move at all from where it's placed in the loading box. will check those rollers
  8. Hi Dave S, I did it all, everything is clean and moving freely. I put a couple of leader cards thru and it worked perfectly. Then I screwed the top back on and it stopped working!!
  9. thanks Dave S. you're a legend. got all that off, still cant see the solenoids, the sensors or the rollers. so frustrating. anything you can suggest to fix the leader issue?
  10. Leader card in not feeding. I read previous posts about freeing up solenoids and cleaning sensors - can you tell me how to take off the front plastic cover to better expose the area? We've had multiple V30s of various generations, and this one was even working in our lab. Usually problems like this are an easy fix, but this one seems to be stubborn. With almost half a thousand rolls building up we'd be extremely grateful for any light you can shine on the issue !
