  7. Hi, Some customers and curious have been interested and asking me questions about the operation of the software kodak KPK version 8.1 in virtual machine. So here are some videos of how this modification of the original version works both in an original kiosk kiosk, as in a PC with Windows 7 and 10. Note that in our stores it is printed by Minilab Noritsu, that is why the printing in Kodak Printer is not shown in the videos, but the software is 100% functional and prints like the original in Kodak Printer 305, 605, 68XX and 88XX, also in Minilab Fuji. Note that we also add the Airprint utility to send images and files in general from Apple devices (Iphone, Ipad, etc.) to a shared folder, to be processed by the kodak kiosk or by attached services placed in W7-W10 (printing of documents, conversion of files from PDF to JPG, shared folders in the local network, etc), allowing this to use the kodak kiosk with added services and not only as photo printing. The AirPrint function allows version 8.1 of the kodak software to link Apple devices to the kiosk, a function already disabled in the original version.   10. We managed to install the kodak KPK 8.1 and KPK + 6.0 software in a virtual machine (VirtualBox). This allows us to keep Windows 10 and the Kodak software running on the same PC, which allows greater mobility of the application and saving resources. In this case we use an I3 laptop with 4Gb RAM, sharing resources with the kodak software (bluetooth, wifi connection, etc). We leave a video link showing the results. Hi, Sharing the GS-Compact kiosk on the LAN does not provide you any advantage since the kiosk software does not have functions for connecting to social networks (facebook, instagram, etc.), not does it have the Noritsu / Fuji enabler for printing in Minilabs through the LAN, among other functions. In order to access these functions you need to update the kodak software version to higher versions (version 4, 5.2, 6, 7.1 or 8.1).   13. Hi, There is a misconception that copying the hard drive of the kodak kiosk is the ultimate goal when installing it on another computer. Kodak technicians and programmers made sure that much of the kodak hardware was linked to the software, so expanding a copy of the hard drive on another computer initially seems to work, but much of the hardware will not be correct (although in Windows it is well recognized ) either by kodak enablers or by changes in Windows registries. For example not only bluetooth can be unrecognized but also card readers, front usb port, etc. As they are not recognized by the software, many functions of the kiosk will not be enabled and will not work as we wish.
