  1. hello guys i have kodak 7000 printer and its giving me error = PAPER JAM 12 PLEASE HELP THANKS
  2. Hi All, We use a V30 at our shop and we have been receiving the Error Code “024 - Circulation Pump Stopped – P2.” We can no longer use our machine because the code alarm goes off immediately when we turn it on, and reoccurs quickly after we clear the error. The one thing we noticed is that the error ALWAYS came up if the film gets stuck while feeding into the machine. We would remove the film, the error would come on for a time, but if we powered down the machine long enough, it would restart fine with a prompt for time/start up checks. Now, regardless of unplugging the machine for days, it resumes processing rather than starting fresh with a prompt for start up checks. We can’t do a close down process because the error interrupts the water refilling process and goes back to warming up the temperature after it’s cleared. Is there any way to "factory reset" the machine?? We looked through several threads where many people have also had issues with Error 024, and tried some of the solutions but none have worked so far. We also can’t access output check mode because the error popping up keeps blocking access to us navigating the system menu. Any idea on how to stop the error from interrupting? We’ve tried changing to service mode on the machine but it does not stop this error: Turning on dip switch DS2 No.2 on the mainPCB to put the V30 in service mode, does not stop the error. Is there any reason the error code is overriding service mode? Does it have something to do with a system setting or needing the floppy disk? As for the Service Manual troubleshooting diagnostics: Chemical filter cartridges are all brand new F17 and F18 fuses on PowerPCB1 are good All contacts and connections between cables are fine Cleaned out all circulation pumps –they are fine visually (but how can we tell they’re rotating properly? How can we test their voltage?) PowerPCB1 seems to be working PowerPCB2 seems to be working Main Control PCB seems to be working We’ve also tried the following ideas from this post: https://www.minilabhelp.com/index.php?/forums/topic/18947-noritsu-qsf-v30p-problems/ -Adjusting the top cover limit switch, but it didn’t help -We’ve tried to measure the voltage to the STB heater to test the SSR’s, but we keep getting interrupted by the Error code -We’ve tried Kodak_Service’s idea of switching connectors 138 and 139, and the error number DID change from “024-P2” to “024-P1” showing the PCB is ok, and we’ve also replaced the P2 pump entirely but the error remains. What could be the issue??

  5. Hello Recently I got Konica R2 Film Scanner with usb-key. Also I got Phenix software version 2.00 which I installed on Windows 2000 SP4. I planned to use it as standalone scanner for personal film scanning at home, but this is not so easy as I thought before. The hardware of my PC is next: GIGABYTE GA-6VEM \ PENTIUM III Tualatin \ PCI 1394 card. When I run Phenix, I get error with code L1778 (The Input station to control the Printer processor is not found) How can I fix this problem?
  6. Hi All, I'm new here. I just got a Noritsu LS600 and have been trying to get it working, with no luck so far. Right now, when I try and calibrate the scanner, either in the software or in photoshop before scanning, I get error 6341-00003. The error message states 'Scanner image path error.' What happens is that the software stops working, I get a windows error message, and when I restart the software I get the image path error message. This happens in photoshop when I use Twain as well. I cannot seem to find any online resource to help me with this issue. Any help from you all would be much appreciated! PS: I am running on a windows 10 machine with Twain 6.50.

    LS-600 Error

Hi everyone, Trying to start working with the Noritsu LS-600 scanner I've just bought. I'm keep getting error # 06334-00004. According to the service manual it's related to the following issue: The 135 lane sensor does not turn DARK at lane change operation even though specified time has passed after the 240 lane sensor turned LIGHT. The problem keeps on after restarting the scanner. Any idea how to solve it? Thanks!

  10. I have a friend who recently bought an SP-2500 scanner that is set up to be used stand alone. But he keeps getting an error that says "Optical adjustment/maintenance" " AE error occurred" He was told that it is probably an issue with his bulb. He got a new bulb, but still gets the error. What steps should he go through to find the cause of this issue?

We've got a noritsu 3300 machine with a S2 scanner. We're noticing it much more on 120 scans and with underexposed negatives. There is a constant banding occuring as seen in the pictures above. We cleaned the carriers and also the glass plate for the light source. Is there something in the menu we need to change at all? Thanks!

  18. Noritsu Minilab 6073 Error or Lines on Prints -AOM Driver and Laser Troubleshooting Tips ________________________________________________________________________ Another set of questions we get here at The Laser Refinery Inc., is how can you tell if the lines being generated or the 6073 error is really the laser or it's just a bad AOM Driver or Bad Laser Conroller. The solution is a matter of troubleshooting by process of elimination, there is no setting that you can check. Just follow these instructions. ___________________________________________________________________________ Special Note: These AOM Driver Troubleshooting instructions will not work with QSS-37XX series machines because those machines have only 1 AOM driver. ______________________________________________________________________________ AOM Driver Troubleshooting 1) Label each AOM Driver with the corresponding color on the BNC (big round stainless steel connector) connected to that Driver. For example: On the AOM Driver with a BNC that has a Red sticker on the cable label that AOM Driver with the letter "R" on top etc. Do this for Green "G", and Blue "B" also. 2) Remove the questionable driver, by removing ALL Cables and physically removing that driver. Some people try to swap cables around but this will not work because all the cables are not long enough, and each cable must go with that particular color driver. Therefore the driver must be physically removed. 3) Replace that driver with one of the other drivers. For example; swap the Red AOM Driver (if this is the one in question) with the Green AOM Driver. Again, I will repeat; some people try to swap cables around but this will not work because all the cables are not long enough, and each cable must go with that particular color driver. Therefore the driver must be physically removed. 4) Run the machine and see if this error/problem occurs again, but this time with the other color. In other words, if the problem was originally with the red laser or AOM did swapping the AOM driver cause the problem to go to the other color i.e. the green laser or AOM. If it did not you may have a bad laser or bad laser controller. If you want to troubleshoot the laser controller follow the intructions below. __________________________________________________________________________ Note: The following instructions are for Type A and Type B laser engines only. They will not work for Type Ff laser engines because those laser engines have two different types of laser controllers. Laser Controller/Driver Troubleshooting There are two laser controllers on most Noritsu minilabs, even though there are three lasers, that is because the red laser is controlled by the laser I/O board and is built into that board. The only two individual controllers that can be swapped are the green and blue ones. 1) If the laser controllers do not have color coded stickers on them, then label each controller with the appropriate color. In order to find out what that color is take note of the color on the connectors going to each controller. You will find that on each of the laser controllers, one of the largest connectors will have a blue label with serial number and on the other laser controller, that same type of connector will have a green label with a serial number. Label each controller with the color of those labels. Simply mark one laser controller "B" for Blue and the other "G" for green. 2) Take note of the laser controllers physical orientation by taking a picture or labeling one corner. Remove the questionable laser controller, by removing ALL Cables and physically removing that laser controller. Note: On some controllers there is an aluminum base plate that goes with the controller. There are only 4 or 5 screws that hold the controller down around the edge ONLY. Do NOT attempt to remove ANY screws in the middle. Removing any screws from the middle may RUIN THE CONTROLLER. Do not Remove ANY screws from the middle. Some people try to swap cables around but this will not work because all the cables are not long enough, and each cable must go with that particular laser controller. Therefore the laser controller must be physically removed. 3) Take note of the other laser controller's physical orientation by taking a picture or labeling one corner. Now remove the other laser controller, by removing ALL Cables and physically removing that laser controller. Again, Take Note: On some controllers there is an aluminum base plate that goes with the controller. There are only 4 or 5 screws that hold the controller down around the edge ONLY. Do NOT attempt to remove ANY screws in the middle. Removing any screws from the middle may RUIN THE CONTROLLER. Do not Remove ANY screws from the middle. Place this controller where the questionable one was and the questionable one where this one was. Remember that the physical orientation is different for each controller, so remember this and place them in the proper orientation. Screw the laser controller down and connect all the cables. 4) Run the machine and see if the error or problem occurs again, but this time with the other color. In other words, if the problem was originally with the Blue laser, did swapping the Laser Controller cause the problem to go to the other color i.e. the green Laser. If it did not and you already tried the AOM Driver troubleshooting instructions above, you have a problem with the laser engine and it will need to be removed and sent for repair. _____________________________________________________________________________ If you have a problem wih your laser engine or there is a doubt as to the origins of any of these errors, and your laser engine has been removed, we will test and diagnose your laser engine free of charge. We provide Noritsu laser repair and laser refurbishing, please visit our website for more details. Please Call or Email for proper packing instructions prior to sending. Thank you. 19. Hello, We have a Fujifilm FP563SCAL film processor and its throwing a H1 heater error. A quick fix was to turn off the machine, wait a few minutes and turn it back on. Then two solid state relays burnt out and we replaced them. Things were ok for a little while and now H1 error is coming back. The solid state relays look fine. A friend of mine told me there is a fix or patch that you can do by adding a wire to the back of the board to keep the heater from tripping off but he can't find the instructions on how to do it anymore. Anyone have any thoughts on this other than spending $600 on a board? Thanks, Bob
