When you have printer it is recommended to have manuals. I have CD with all manuals - user, service, adjustments, troubleshooting and many other. Write private message, if need them.
Sensor is on printer head.

If paper length is OK then cutter works well. Try make printing center correction ( from mechanical adjustments ) . On mechanical adjustments there are more settings, but they affect all papers.

If before printed well and problem appeared itself then It is printer head problem. Guess on regular prints you see dark lines.
Check and clean head cleaning unit ( wiper blades and all other ) . Then put new cartridges and from service mode run power head cleaning, or power head cleaning 2. Maybe then prints will be better. If not - need to clean manually, but it is not easy. Should have experience how to do it. If do it wrong - can easy damage printer head.
If problem appeared after some part replacement then have to make alignments from service menu.

If cleaning helped for a while then problem was there. Might be ink from print head goes on tape and sometimes drylab doesn't see signal from encoder. Try to remove top cover, remove this tape and clean it well outside. Use printer head cleaning liquid. Also carefully clean inside printer. Try to clean sensor and reconnect it.

07122-00004 means printhead move motor position detection error. Try to clean encoder tape (linear scale) . This is transparent tape with many small holes and you can see it, if to open printer top cover.

Password can enter on Ez controller, or printer maintenance module. If on EZ controller then enter menu, on big keyboard press F1 and F9 and on pop up box enter 2260.
To enter service menu on printer maintenance module have press "maintenance" , on big keyboard press F1 and F9 and on pop up box enter 2260.
The latest printer D703 system software - version 7, latest EZ controller - 6.80, profile data - 4.80 . Also on this printer can be installed duplex print software ( to print duplex on sheet paper ) . I have all of them.
