  1. PH = Printhead. PH uses piezo actuators to eject drops of ink. Each nozzle has it own actuator with is designed for curtain life span. For this PH is about 4-5 billion actuation. When you use HQ mode actuators drive on higher frequency in order to "build" the print from smaller drops and to achieve more detail, uniformity, etc. It mean that number of actuations can be double in HQ compared to SQ. And that leads to shorter life of the PH. That is it in very basic shape.

On which behalf are you posting above statements? If you do not come up with your legal status, I am assuming that you are just someone who already stole "the software" and try make more profit by cleaning the competition. Let me also remind you (as lawyer to lawyer - assuming you are such one) that posting anonymous treats over the internet is also punishable by law in many countries
  3. So, those lines are on paper feed direction or on printhead movement direction? Do you see any changes in pattern during print job or they remain the same all the time?
  4. Perform Paper feed Manual adjustment . Do it several times if no good result. If paper feed adjustment does not help check and clean paper feed roller, vertical encoder (the round one attached to paper feed roller) and the tension of the belt that drives them.
  5. So, probably the problem is caused of too much waste ink on the most right side of the waste ink pad. Since most print are borderless and all of them start on the same position (first dot placement) the absorbing pad gain too much ink and rise in upper direction toward PH surface. In that case it can contact surface of print head and put some dirt on it during starting procedure where there is no paper present. Possible solution - try to clean waste ink pad by gently washing it with cleaning solution (or water) using syringe and applying small volumes of fluid at a time. Also check if there any damage over absorbing material pad and try to make it even to surface. The absorbing pad can be fully removed and then fully washed relevantly easy. I guess there will be also dirt on paper feed roller - try to clean that as well. Hope it helps
  6. Question: Do you observe smearing/dirty on the back side of the prints?
  7. @TechBoy You will never get rid of uneven dark and shadows as far as it goes for D700 and DX100. It's by original design. Simply told that printhead was never designed to achieve such speeds over such image quality. The bad news is if use only high quality mode you can shorten PH lifespan by half.
  8. In case of blank prints after printhead replacement and 5-6 cleaning cycles the reason is not working capping station/pump. New capping/pump and all it will work.
  9. Cause - The printer is mixing two neighbor colors - it clearly seen on the first row of posted nozzle check between black and magenta. Can be caused by broken separation between chambers in to the printhead - only remedy is to replace PH. First action to take is to clean carefully and truly the capping station and wiping blade with cleaning fluid.

Replacing PH is relevantly easy, replacing Caping unit require certain skills and knowledge. They are several revisions of the PH trough the Years, last versions should last about 120K 4R prints ... if you are lucky enough.
  11. Hi, as inkjet printing platform developer and inkjet ink formulation specialist I can share the fallowing: 1.We develop various project based on same print engine that DE100 is using. Same PH, same supply system. Used for direct-to-garment print, dye sub, direct to food etc. For 5+ years we have hundreds of liters if ink in various condition passed trough this system. Including water based dye inks. It is very reliable system. One of the most trouble free systems on the market as for today. Let's put it this way D700/DX100 are designed to last 100,000 prints the most, DE100 for 250,000 the least. So to have relevantly good ROI make it over printer price/250,000 4R`s and consumption of ~0,20 ml per 4R. 2. D700/DX100 and L1800/805 inks are quite different by formulation as they have to serve different task by design. Open gravity based supply system vs. encapsulated pressure supply system, print speed, dry time (heater - no heater) etc. I will not advise any to cross use both types at any circumstances. 3. In addition F500 is the last fine piece of equipment provided by Fuji. As far as I remember they have low volume CP49 chemistry designed to stay stable in as low volume as around 500 4R print per day on average. You can check that with your supplier.
