  1. I am familiar with the units. I still have a 2721. Didn't know if anyone was looking for parts. Im sure they are kinda hard to find these days. Odd you should mention the color wheel. I replaced mine ($6000.00) about 6 months before we shut it off forever.
  2. Is anyone still using such a beast?
  3. OK..... so anyone have the software to reload an stand alone MP-1600?
  4. Anyone run a MP-1600 as a standalone printer?
  5. Now you can do the same thing to the other file and create the 6x4.685 template you need. Let me know via PM if you have questions. (goes to my phone)
  6. Two more things and we are done...... First is to throw the product.DAT file away. And second restart the DLS computer. And now you should have the new template available for use.
  7. I did not include ALL of the data that is in this file.... I just used the part that we have to add too. We need to ADD the size that we just made in this file. You will notice I added the size in both columns at the appropriate spot in the size descriptions below. Close and save this file in place. // Language English // Version 1.1a ////////////////////////////////// // START_DLS_LAYOUT_DEFINITION 35_1 35_4R_Classic 35_2 35_3R_Classic IX240_1 IX_240_4R_Classic IX240_2 IX_240_3R_Classic 120_1 120_4R 120_2 120_3R 110_1 110_4R 110_2 110_3R Digital Digital_4R // END_DLS_LAYOUT_DEFINITION /////////////////////////////////// // START_DLS_PRODUCT_DEFINITION 3.25x4.625 3.25x4.625 3.25x4.75 3.25x4.75 3.25x5 3.25x5 3.25x5.75 3.25x5.75 HDTV 3.25x9.25 3.25x9.25 Pan 3.5x4.33 3.5x4.33 3.5x5 3.5x5 3.5x6 3.5x6 HDTV 3.5x8 3.5x8 cards 3.5x8.5 3.5x8.5 Short Pan 3.5x5.25 3.5x5.25 3.5x10 3.5x10 Medium Pan 3.5x10.5 3.5x10.5 Long Pan 3.5x12 3.5x12 4x4 4x4 4x5 4x5 4x5.5 4x5.5 4x5.83 4x5.83 4x5.87 4x5.87 4x5.91 4x5.91 4x5.94 4x5.94 4x6 4x6 4.5x6 4.5x6 4.625x6.5 4.625x6.5 4x7 4x7 HDTV 4x8 4x8 4x10 4x10 Short Pan 4x10_OSOFF 4x10_OSOFF 4x11.5 4x11.5 Long Pan 4x12 4x12 Pan 4.75x6.5 4.75x6.5 4.75x7 4.75x7 5x4.724 5x4.724 5x5 5x5 5x7 5x7 5x7.5 5x7.5 5x8.5 5x8.5 5x8.75 5x8.75 HDTV 5x14 5x14 Pan 6x4.5 6x4.5 6x6 6x6 6x7 6x7 6x8 6x8 6x9 6x9 6x10.5 6x10.5 6x17 6x17 6.5x8.5 6.5x8.5 6.5x11.5 6.5x11.5 7x10_OSOFF 7x10_OSOFF 7x12_OSOFF 7x12_OSOFF 8x8 8x8 8x10 8x10 8x10_OSOFF 8x10_OSOFF 8x12 8x12 8x12_OSOFF 8x12_OSOFF 8x14 8x14 HDTV 8.25x11.675 8.25x11.675 8.5x11 8.5x11 10x10 10x10 10x11 10x11 10x12 10x12 10x13 10x13 10x14 10x14 10x15 10x15 10x17.5 10x17.5 HDTV 10x18 10x18 10x20 10x20 10x23 10x23 11x8.5 11x8.5 11x11 11x11 11x14_OSOFF 11x14_OSOFF 11x14 11x14 11x17 11x17 12x4 12x4 12x12 12x12 12x16 12x16 12x18 12x18 12x20 12x20 12x24 12x24
  8. Now we have to do four things to make this template usable by the dls system. First is to modify the description file inside the product folder. 12. The DLS software was written in the US so it uses US values. The templates you have asked for in US are 5" x 4.724" and 6" x 4.685" So we are going to start with a 5x5 and a 6x4_5 templates. Templates are located on the X:>Product>Layouts>standard folder. Right click the 5x5 file and select open with notepad.
  13. OK template lesson 101 In order for new templates to be used you must add them to the description file in the products folder. Are you aware of this?
  14. I have the front end under control... Hot folder and Express digital are ways to deal with that. But I need the software. (H001?) and whats different in the Printers computer (i.e. Interface cards?)
