  1. Hello, I have a well used Fuji Frontier 375 that is making the white un-imaged (blank) parts of the photo paper turn out with a yellow tint / cast. P1, P2, PS drained, cleaned and replaced, Filters replaced. Once chem was replace it was printing white as white again = all good, but over 12 hours of use the yellow tint returned and also black on daily condition test print have now a blue shade. Machine uses Tetnal CP48 replenishers
  2. helo, I have problem with color on QSS 3202 when I do daily setup at 6:00 , and next emulsion test 6:15 Y 0 M-0,3 C0 D0 , next test 8:35 Y+0,6 M+0,9 c0 D0, next test 11:17 Y+0,7 M +0,7 C0 D0 swap AOM driver and result is the same Have you ever encountered something similar ? Thanks

  4. Hi all, i need to replace a defective AOM (LA_BE04) on a Dlab 3. However I'm not sure how the correct procedure is to adjust and recalibrate the new AOM. The Agfa manual (Repair) says: - Replace AOM with new one - Generate a new LUT (current one uses default LUT) The next steps are somewhat unclear: 1. To adjust potentiometers "Bias Offset" and "Power" - the AOM driver has got two potentiometers labeled with +24V and RF adjust, so i guess Power=+24V and Bias=RF adjust, right? 2. Move 4th monitor diode into light path: I guess this are the two knobs on the laser recorder (green and blue dot), with two positions each (green and red) How do I read the value of the monitor diode? There are two scripts read_monitordiodes (which reads 3 values for the R, G, B diodes) and read_aom_monitordiode. I guess the latter is the correct one. But the value read out by read_aom_monitordiode is always between 48 and 49, no matter which positions the two knobs on the laser recorder have. Also i've not found a test point to measure the diode voltage. 3. At 0 V input voltage adjust bias ... and at 0,6 V input voltage ... How can i set the input voltage of the AOM to 0V and 0,6V? I've found the parameter to set the voltage for red, but not for green or blue? Can someone help me with getting the replacement procedure straight? My seconds question would be: If i run the script AOM_driver, which should be run after replacement of the AOM the script always times out on these 3 commands: answer PR RDLAVPAP$2!3!$3!1! 90000 answer PR RDLAVPAP$4!3!$5!1! 90000 answer PR RDLAVPAP$6!3!$7!1! 90000 Answer timeout (90000 msecs) for "PR RDLAVPAP$2!3!$3!1!" ! I think this has something to do with the pol filter but what exactly? I really appreciate any help you can provide. Nico
  5. Hi everyone, I have a problem. When I try to print I get: 6073 Syncronouos Sensor Error, and the prints come out unexposed ( pefect white) I have had a problem with a print that has came out magenta. ) that has resolved with restarting. Than the prints started to come out all white (unexposed) without any errors. I switched the AOMs and than I got the 6073 Syncronouos Sensor Error. I ran a Laser self diagnostic tool that says that " an abnormality was found in R laser syncronisation. Please advise on action.

I have a d-lab3 which keeps giving 'lazer power green too low' have changed the lazer to a spare one which I presume is ok and get 'laser power blue too low', tried another laser and the same message comes up. Have tried two other fibres and tried realigning the fibre at both ends but am struggling to get the monitor diode g/b up to 2000, the values fluctuare wildly, am suspecting it could be the laser power supply, have tried a spare one I have but not sure how good the spare supply is, any thoughts? Laser power is 790mv, 5.2A, its old but seems to light and work.
